LinkedIn have had a massive change and Facelift and now look and feel just like Facebook along with all the ads.
The great advanced search is gone unless you pay a small
fortune for Sales Navigator.
There are advantages and disadvantages. The new look is a
lot cleaner and easier but a lot of the old Gold nuggets have disappeared.
I loved the article section in the old LinkedIn and had
thousands of views. This section is now impossible to find for anyone new
looking at your profile unless they know where to go. Why didn't LI have a
heading section showing resources, like your videos and articles that you work
so hard to produce.
Unfortunately, your new articles now just form part of the
news feed so if you publish at the wrong time, very few people will see it. You
would need to regularly be posting about your article at different times for it
to be seen.
The company section is also changing with a new look and
feel.
Trying to get information in the LinkedIn help sections are
pointless, as they all relate to the old look LinkedIn and have not been
updated.
